Third-party Licences
Pitch to Staff distributes the following third-party code and machine-learning model assets. Licence texts and copyright acknowledgements are included with the site files. This inventory refers to components shipped to browsers, not packages used only during development.
Spotify Basic Pitch TypeScript — adapted
Copyright © 2022 Spotify AB. Upstream project: Spotify Basic Pitch TypeScript (recorded source version 1.0.1). File: vendor/basic-pitch-local.js. Licensed under Apache License 2.0. This is a locally modified adaptation of its inference and note-decoding portions, not an unmodified Spotify distribution. It excludes the upstream MIDI library and contains local decoder compatibility and note-analysis changes.
Basic Pitch machine-learning model
Distributed files: model/model.json, model/group1-shard1of1.bin and the embedded representation model/basic-pitch-model.js. The embedded JSON and weights were checked byte-for-byte against the corresponding distributed model assets. The project attributes these assets to the Spotify Basic Pitch model under Apache 2.0. The shipped model's SHA-256 checksums are documented in third-party notices. An independent hash comparison against GitHub's upstream binary was unavailable; this is noted for traceability, not concealed.
TensorFlow.js 3.2.0
Copyright © 2021 Google LLC and contributors; Apache License 2.0. File: vendor/tf.min.js. Version 3.2.0 and its licence header are identified in the shipped bundle. TensorFlow.js aggregates upstream TensorFlow.js packages with the CPU, WebGL and model-loading functionality used by this website.
Open-source code in the runtime bundle
Bundled core-js 3.6.5 (Denis Pushkarev), seedrandom (David Bau; upstream TensorFlow.js 3.2.0 CPU dependency specifies 2.4.3), and regenerator-runtime (Facebook, Inc.; exact bundled patch version not independently proven) are attributed under the MIT licence. The upstream TensorFlow.js dependency manifest supports their inclusion; actual bundle markers support their use. Full notices and licence text are in MIT component notices.
Local application code and files not distributed
vendor/score-corrections.js, vendor/tempo-assistant.js and the main application's additional interface and music utilities are project-maintained code. The upstream Basic Pitch @tonejs/midi package and Spotify's Python environment are not distributed with this site and are therefore not listed as distributed components.
